Zurich  –  Cadillac is making progress in establishing a fully authorized sales and service network in key European markets. This week, Cadillac retail contracts have been signed by the two future main dealers for the French market: Paul Chedid Automotive in Ballainvilliers and Automobiles Chassay in Tours. Both companies have have been long-standing GM distribution partners and also have many years of experience of selling Cadillac vehicles in France. At the same time, Cadillac will establish a network of authorized repairers to ensure full service coverage for Cadillac customers in France.

Paul Chedid, owner of Paul Chedid Automotive, said: “Cadillac is a strong brand with a great heritage and fantastic products. I am confident that we will continue to be successful addressing individualistic customers who are looking for a really special car in the luxury segment. It is certainly our ambition to expand the customer base in France.”

Christian Chassay, owner of Automobiles Chassay in Tours, said: “Cadillac has developed into a brand offering premium sporty vehicles which are more than competitive with comparable cars of European premium brands, but overall they also offer excellent value for money and highly individualistic styling.”

Wolfgang Schubert, Cadillac Europe Managing Director is pleased with the progress the company is making in developing its retail and service network in key European markets: “Cadillac believes strongly that luxury markets will continue to grow outside the US – including Europe – and we intend to continue our participation in those luxury growth markets. Cadillac has been a successful niche player in the French market in the past, and is here to stay with a portfolio of attractive products appealing to customers who like distinctively styled exclusive high performance vehicles. We are convinced that we have great retail partners whose ambition it is to offer outstanding customer service in line with a premium brand.”

In Europe, Cadillac is offering a portfolio of seven vehicles starting with model year 2011: The popular CTS sedan and its high-performance version CTS-V, featuring a 564-hp supercharged 6.2l V-8 will be joined by the all-new CTS Coupe and the CTS Sport Wagon – all of them introduced at this year’s Geneva Motor Show.
